Fair-Rite announces a new series of snap on assemblies for round cables. The capsule shaped assemblies are both functional and ergonomic. Available in five sizes they fit cables from 4mm to 12.7mm in diameter and provide impedance of 150 - 315 ohms @ 100 Mhz. The housings are Polypropylene with a flammability rating of UL94-V0. A kit containing parts in both 44 and newly developed 31 material, which extends useful range to below 25mhz is available. Contact Chinook Technical Sales.

Shield Bead Bookshelf Kit Part Number 0199000019

Fair-Rite's Shield Bead Kit contains 20 different shield bead parts in two different materials: 73 material for frequencies <30 MHz and 43 material for frequencies between 25 and 200 MHz. The beads range from an inner diameter of 0.85mm up to 5.0mm. Fair-Rite's shield beads are guaranteed to impedance specifications over a wide frequency range. Chip Bead Bookshelf Kit Part Number 0199000018

Fair-Rite's Chip Bead Kit contains 20 different chip bead parts in four different EIA standard package sizes. This kit contains low current, medium current, as well as high current chip beads. Also included in this kit are a selection of low, standard, and high signal speed parts. Fair-Rite's chip beads are controlled 100% for impedance and DCR. They are suitable for both wave and reflow solder processes. An Impedance vs. Frequency curve and an Impedance under DC Bias vs. Frequency curve is shown for each part.
